The French Riviera Marathon debuted in November 2008, setting a world record in attracting over 10,000 participants in its first year!
The race is set in the stunning surroundings of the French Riviera beginning on the Promenade des Anglais in world famous Nice and then winding 42km through 7 water front cities including Antibes Juan-Les-Pins and Cagnes-sur-Mer before finishing at “La Crosiette” in Cannes. With 92% of the race along the sea and the snowy mountains and bright sunshine providing the back drop there is no better place to tackle your 1st or 50th marathon. You will also be cheered along by 60,000 spectators made up of locals and holiday makers keen to give you a warm welcome to the region.
In addition to the race, why not use it as a weekend away with family or friends to sample the delicious French cuisine, cruise the stylish French boutiques or just to enjoy a bit of rest and relaxation in the Riviera sunshine!
