The London Triathlon is the world’s largest triathlon attracting over 13,000 participants to Docklands, London. The event attracts people of all shapes and sizes; from Elite athletes trying to shave vital seconds off their personal bests to complete novices who have taken it up as their annual challenge (50% of participants are first timers). With 4 distances (Super Sprint, Sprint, Olympic and Olympic Plus) there is something to suit all needs either as individuals or as part of a team.
The opportunity to cycle through the closed roads of London via the 02 arena, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye make it a unique event for all involved. Whilst the run and swim course taking place at Docklands provide an excellent venue for friends and family to come and cheer you on!
The event was voted by German Triathlon Magazine (Europe's biggest triathlon publication) as one of the 'must-do' triathlons in 2010.
